Douglas High School

Completed in 2022 for the Winston-Dillard School District, the Douglas High School project included replacement of two existing classroom buildings with a new, two-story, pre-engineered metal building structure with a new gym sited next to the existing gym. Both the new classroom building and the gym were built in the middle of an occupied campus and integrating carefully with the existing buildings.
In total, a 45,000 sf facility was constructed using pre-engineered metal buildings and allowing the district to cost-effectively replace outdated facilities and maximize their bond funding. The two-story classroom addition design includes modern fixtures and is a major upgrade for security, safety, and energy efficiency.
